Para encontrar el final de la línea, simplemente use el signo $ -:
Sin ancla de fin de línea:
sed -n '/pattern/p' file
Sin ancla de fin de línea:
sed -n '/pattern$/p' file

La documentación de Kali Linux dice:

Any additional repositories added to the Kali sources.list file will most likely BREAK YOUR KALI LINUX INSTALL.
