Согласно странице поддержки Fresco, а также согласно теме "новый драйвер Fresco Logic" (https://www.mail-archive.com/linux-usb@vger.kernel.org/msg42844.html), похоже, мне не повезло получить поддержку этого устройства.
Усилия cy384 высоко ценятся (http://www.cy384.com/projects/fl2000dx-driver.html), но поддержка этих устройств просто отсутствует.
Если кто-то все еще читает и знает способ извлечь что-то полезное из предоставленного Fresco драйвера Win и вставить его в этот Trisquel на базе Ubuntu, это было бы здорово! Но пока я просто приму это как ответ.
