Try reinstalling the display manager. If that does not work, install a different display manager. This will force debconf to reconfigure the display manager to be used.

Descargue AOMEI Partition Assistant Standard Edition , instálelo, utilícelo para BORRAR completamente su USB potencialmente corrupto (no solo formatéelo, BORRE )y luego cree un nuevo sistema de archivos de acuerdo con su USB tamaño de la unidad (probablemente será FAT 32 ).
Luego use Win32DiskImager para grabar ese *archivo.img en USB y en BIOS bajo PRIORIDAD DE DISPOSITIVO DE ARRANQUE seleccione USB -HDD como su primer dispositivo de arranque (su BIOS podría tener esas opciones con nombres diferentes ).
Eso debería funcionar.
